Southern Pines Baptist Camp

 Southern Pines Baptist Camp is located in the Santa Catalina Mountains, 30 miles northeast of Tucson. At an elevation of 7,800 feet, this rustic camp is nestled among pine and oak trees on mountainous terrain. The mountain's winter snows, spring blossoms, summer coolness, and autumn leaves are a delightful change from Arizona's desert at any time of the year.  

 

Established as a ministry facility of the First Southern Baptist Church, Tucson, the camp is dedicated to the glory of God through retreat and outreach ministries. The camp is available by reservation to groups wishing to use it for those purposes.

 

The camp has facilities to accommodate 100 campers with 4 sleeping cabins, bunk beds, pit toilets, showers, chapel, outside amphitheater, dining hall, kitchen and barbecue pit area. Groups must provide their own sleeping bags and pillows, programs, food and cook.

 

Recreational facilities include: lighted basketball and volleyball courts, frisbee golf course, children's playground, hiking trails and an outside camp fire area.

 

As a special ministry we welcome any full-time Christian pastors and missionaries for personal and family retreats at our camp.  Please call for availability.

Minimum Occupancy:

Weekends—25 people per day

Weekdays—50 people per day

 

Check—in:

No earlier than 2:30 p.m.

 

Check—out:

No later than 1:00 p.m.

(overnight retreats that stay past 1:00 p.m. on departure day will be charged an additional day)

 

Fee schedule:

 

$20.00 per person per day

$10.00 per person—day use only

$    .16 gallon—extra water use

Any group using more than 10 gallons of water per person per day will be charged an additional $.16 per gallon for the excess.
The retreat fee includes insurance, but does not cover winter sports (ice skating, tubing, skiing, riding snow mobiles, sledding, etc.).

All reservations require a $500.00 camp deposit to guarantee your dates.
